To improve campus life for its students, Sam Houston State University needed a facility that would not only add residences for the student body, but would also create a gathering place to socialize and study. PDG Architects designed for the university a new 4-story, 154,494-square foot housing project to accommodate this need.

 

A key factor in the success of this project was the team’s ability to meet the University’s expedited schedule. PDG Architects and our team of sub-consultants completed the construction documentation for this project in 6 months and the actual construction was completed in 10 months.
