NOV Ameron is a grassroots project located in San Luis Rio Coronado, Mexico just over the border from Yuma Arizona on 50 hectares and manufactures concrete lined pipes for water distribution. PDG provided programming and ground up design for the entire plant which was a consolidation of three separate plants.  PDG was instrumental in the design of the plant to create a lineal manufacturing process from the creation of the pipe in the mill, to final wrapping of the pipe before being shipped to customers.  The campus contains 13 buildings for the pipe manufacturing process including a small office building, spiral steel mill buildings, curing facilities, concrete batch plants, painting and wrapping facilities, fittings manufacturing, machine shops, dining facilities, and warehouses.

 

PDG provided programming, site development, planning, conceptual building design and bridging documents for the entire facility.  The bridging documents included full specifications, floor plans, elevations, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil infrastructure drawings.
