PDG Architects, in association with the landscape architects from M2L Associates Inc., was selected by the Houston Parks and Recreation Department to provide design services for the ongoing “Parks to Standard” park improvement program.

 

The original contract resulted in six projects including the replacement of the roofing system at The Miller Outdoor Theatre located in Houston’s Hermann Park, redesigned entrances to existing facilities, new soccer fields, and new parking facilities. The following contract included projects for new ground-up buildings including:

 

• Townwood Community Center

• Sagemont Community Center

• Kingwood Community Center

• Diez Park Concession Stand
